Why did you want to start this exciting new venture, what did you want to achieve?
After 35 years in business support, I wanted to apply my knowledge and skills to my own business. I wanted a complete change, working in lots of different fun settings, whilst making events special and memorable for people.
We are hoping to launch our new Mobile bar trailer in July 2023.
Where will you be trading your bespoke Mobile bar unit?
We will be looking to trade in a wide variety of locations, which include:
- Wedding venues
- Corporate events
- Public events – Fairs, markets, festivals
Our Mobile drinks Pod is so easy to tow – we’ll be travelling to venues across the East Midlands, East Riding of Yorkshire as well as Northeast Lincolnshire
What did the Big Coffee and Mobile Retail build?
For this conversion we focused on our multi-use Pod, which is a lightweight towable trailer, weighing less than 700KG; this means that most family cars can tow the unit easily. We fitted a full draught beer system with spot cooler – this will enable Jenny to serve crisp cool draught products at her events. Attractive fonts were fitted to dispense the beer and prosecco; these are sure to grab the customers’ attention! There’s also a large bottle-display fridge, which will increase the variety of drinks that can be sold. As you can see, the Mobile bar trailer is finished in gloss black with the finishing touches of the “Off The Wagon” logo applied in vinyl.
How has this experience and customer journey been for you?
The whole team have been very helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming throughout the whole process, from the birth of my business idea to the completion of my mobile trailer & associated training. Nothing was too much trouble, the business is very professional and the staff are experts in their industry.
