I took voluntary redundancy from my place of work after 25 years and Eve was working as a Barista in a local coffee shop. As a family, we all spoke about what I would like to do next and looking at the jobs available at the time, none of them appealed to me.
I really wanted to try something different as I felt I had been given a chance to do so and we just came up with the idea of running our own coffee business.
We’ve haven’t wavered at all in us decision and can’t wait to get started.
We’re hoping to get started as soon as possible and are hoping to supply coffee to local businesses and the local community and we will be open to event hire too. We’ll see what works and what doesn’t, but we’re excited for the next chapter!
Decided to move the grinder to the left-hand side of the coffee machine as they are Barista trained and usually work this way.
Pitcher rinser added and three batteries purchased as will be trading long days without electric hook up.
