At The Big Coffee, we don’t just build coffee vans, we build business opportunities. And earlier this month, we had the pleasure of putting one of our Premium Pod Conversions to work for a great cause, while also showcasing the real-world potential of mobile coffee businesses.
As part of the BBC DIY SOS Big Build in Beverley, East Yorkshire, we volunteered our time and served free coffee and hot drinks on-site for 2–3 hours a day using one of our signature Premium Pods. The demand was incredible, each day we served between 180 and 350 drinks to volunteers, crew members, and supporters working hard to change lives.

While this was a charity effort, it also offered a perfect glimpse into the earning power of a mobile coffee setup. At standard retail prices of £3.20–£3.50 per drink, that volume could have generated £576 to £1,225 per day – in just a few hours of trading.
