Let’s focus on the numbers… it is widely excepted that there is good profit to be made in coffee sales.
We decided to dissect that into more detail by looking at the profit per cup. Using our beans and adding together the different components: a double shot of espresso, a good quality barrier cup, a lid and the milk, you could expect one cup to cost approximately 36p to produce. That means that if you are able to sell it for £2.95 there is a whopping £2.59 profit per cup! This price is based on a 12 ounce cup with a double shot of espresso.
